Meet Kathy Major: Executive Director and Vice President, UCHealth Plan Administrators.
Kathy is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She was responsible for the launch of two previous third party administrators within the state of Colorado, and she has extensive experience in both managed care and third party administrator environments. Kathy’s experience in the application of innovative solutions and the management of large scale operations led to a prestigious award from the Smithsonian Institute. She has been a speaker at the Self Insurance Institute of America on multiple occasions and has authored several articles regarding insurance industry topics. Kathy graduated from the University of Colorado with a finance degree and holds an active Colorado Accident and Health producer license.
Kathy says, “As a third party administrator that is part of the UCHealth system of facilities and providers, we have a solid track record of working hand-in-hand with employers within the state of Colorado and beyond. We do everything we can to leverage our resources in order to assist employers in gaining better control over claims cost, while simultaneously improving the health and wellbeing of their members through increased health care access.”
